RADIESSE® Hands
Don’t let your hands give away your age
The hands don’t lie. Even with a more youthful appearance of the face, your age can easily be given away by the appearance of your hands. RADIESSE® is the first and only FDA-approved product for hand augmentation to correct volume loss in the hands. RADIESSE restores volume to the hands while providing smooth, natural-looking results4 that can be seen immediately and can last up to 1 year.
RADIESSE® is an opaque, white colored injectable dermal filler that is made up of CaHA microspheres in a water-based gel. RADIESSE® is non-animal based and free from animal protein. Before you are injected, you do not have to be tested to see if you are allergic to RADIESSE®.
RADIESSE® is injected under your skin on the back of your hands (not your palms) to add volume to lessen the visibility of veins and tendons in your hands due to loss of fullness.
RADIESSE® is injected under the skin with a thin needle to plump the skin and add volume to the back of your hands. RADIESSE® will not correct the underlying causes of loss of fullness in the hands. RADIESSE® will not be injected into your wrist or fingers

What to expect
Expectations During and Immediately After Radiesse Hand Rejuvenation Treatment.
• RADIESSE is a dermal filler that is injected into the skin of the hands to soften creases or folds; and to support areas of volume loss so they have a younger appearance. •Local numbing medication may be used to maximize your comfort during the procedure. Most patients report only mild discomfort typically associated with needle injections. • You may experience a mild to moderate amount of stinging or aching sensation postinjection. • To ensure an even correction, the physician will massage the area treated, which may cause a temporary, minimal to moderate amount of redness to your skin. • Bruising at the site of injection is a commonly reported side effect. To minimize bruising, inform your provider if you use blood thinners such as ibuprofen, aspirin or herbal preparations, prior to your procedure. • Temporary minimal to moderate swelling can be expected. Swelling can persist for 2-3 weeks in some patients and may begin 1-2 weeks after the treatment. Warm packs and hand elevation can help reduce swelling. • It is normal to experience some tenderness at the treatment site for a few days.
