Massage Therapy
Why get a Massage?
Massage can reduce stress and anxiety, relieve pain, and improve balance and range of motion. Research has shown that massage can lower heart rate and blood pressure, relax muscles, and increase production of endorphins, the body’s natural “feel good” chemical. The result is a feeling of calm relaxation.
With all these benefits the questions isn’t why get a massage, it’s why not!
Swedish Massage
Long gliding strokes with medium pressure are used to relax the entire body, improve blood flow to the skin and muscle, and remove muscle tension. Available in 30, 60 or 90 minute sessions.
Deep Tissue and Trigger Point Therapy
Slow friction & deep finger pressure for body areas suffering from chronic muscle tension. Works well in combination with traditional Swedish massage for problem areas such as stiff neck or back, leg muscle tightness or sore shoulders.
Heated Stone Massage
Muscle tension and stiffness is released as warm smooth stones move over the body. Heated Stone Massage is also thought to align subtle energies within the body for greater attunement and harmony.
